The Breakfast Project by Sayaka Minemura
Today is the beginning of a new day and a new week, which means it's doubly important to start your day right with a hearty breakfast. For photographer Sayaka Minemura, a hearty breakfast also means one that has a little bit more character and charm like those that are featured in her breakfast project.
Sayaka Minemura or Flickr user bamsesayaka began chronicling what she's had for breakfast in 2008. After awhile, her morning meals began to take on a much more whimsical personality, complete with delightful faces and smiles. This is definitely a fun and inspiring project for anyone just starting in photography, or in the case of Ms. Minemura, it's a cute, healthy and presumably delicious way to start each day.
These lovely culinary creations are clearly infused with the photographer's own unassuming and cheery personality, which all the more makes browsing through her Flickr set a real joy.
Check out the rest of Sayaka Minemura's breakfast project here. She also has a blog over here. There are lots more friendly food servings on her Flickr account which will surely inspire you to put on a smile on your face and possibly on your own breakfast as well.
