Tim Macpherson: Kids At Home And At Play
Jan von Holleben's pictures of little tykes having fun outside with their homemade costumes and props look impressive and inspiring, but Tim Macpherson takes the cake when it comes to kids having fun indoors. It only took a few household items to create the scenes that he did, but they're all done so well that you can't help but be awesomed by all of them.
Macpherson only did a handful of images, but each one is a delight to behold. They were commissioned for Mother's Pride Preschool with the tagline, "Let children be imaginative", and indeed each image is evocative of that line (you can find more details about the advertisement campaign here). Check out the rest of the set below.
Unfortunately, these are the only ones he did for this particular ad campaign, but the rest of his portfolio is equally as creative. Check out more of Tim Macpherson's imaginative photography over at his website.
Aw these are well done. That motorcycle, wow, would've stumped me!
ReplyDeleteExcellent and extremely imaginative photos! I like the skiing photo, you just know that kid really does want to try them stairs out!!
ReplyDeleteThe diving one was the best out of a great set.
ReplyDeleteWoooa ! Realy awesome photo !
ReplyDelete... they all look very very posed. Not a big fan of posed pictures, but the idea is cute
ReplyDeleteThat is so freaking creative. It may seem like a simple concept, but coming up with it is, like, really hard.
ReplyDeleteHa! Fun ideas, especially if you happen to have some rugrats!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember playing like that as a kid! That look like it took effort... ;)

ReplyDeletehaha, i love this post. Especially the surfer kid and the ski girl. It reminds me of how fun it was to be a kid and build forts and create things. I used to make all my cousins perform little plays, one time we did Pocahontas and I made all their costumes out of paper bags and spent hours crinkling them so they looked like leather. :) ..Very creative post, thanks for sharing! -Dale
